This is a powerfully emotional film about the life of Georgiana
Cavendish the Duchess of Devonshire.
She is a common woman who marries into power. Her life is
filled with some tough choices that she has to make.
It amazes me that it is based on a true story.
It is filled with friendships, love affairs and politics.
And most important to us are the beautiful feather hats from
that era.
She was so popular with the people that she set the standards
for fashion at the time.
