The Duchess 2008 – Feather Hats

This is a powerfully emotional film about the life of Georgiana Cavendish the Duchess of Devonshire.

She is a common woman who marries into power. Her life is filled with some tough choices that she has to make.

It amazes me that it is based on a true story.

It is filled with friendships, love affairs and politics.

And most important to us are the beautiful feather hats from that era.

She was so popular with the people that she set the standards for fashion at the time.

A great and original way to decorate with feathers

Whether you are looking  for  something of a plane and quit color or something a bit loud, you can find it in these great decoration that have come from the African continent.

Something really interesting about these hats is that the only things I was able to find about them are about the wall decorations.  

I couldn't find anything written about the actual tribes that wear them or anything else.

The most information I saw was on the “Kronbali” blog where they sell these hats.

Givenchy Gown From The 2010 Couture Collection

The elegant, beautiful and revealing dress that the R&B pop stars like to show their stuff in

This sheer gown that leaves very little to the imagination was first spotted on Beyonce at the 2012 Met Gala.

She wore this black version with more extended feather trim on the bottom.

This past year at the 2013 VMAs Ciara wore the same white one.

They both look great in these feather fashion works of art. 

Here is another feather gown from the same collection.

It doesn't have the sheer thrill that the first one does, but it`s stunning none the less.
